They are responsible for creating end-to-end solutions starting from design, construction, technological innovations, and HVAC maintenance. They deal with biotech, retrofit, and high-tech projects.

At WAM, intricate engineering meets advanced technology through the utilization of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction)-like technologies for creating a comfortable and energy-efficient environment.

What did their challenges revolve around?

They were mainly concerned about inadequate document management and document searching capabilities, collaboration limitations, lack of granular permission settings, version history related issues, and also their inability to restore deleted files.

How Did We Plan to Solve WAM’s Challenges?

We proposed SharePoint Online as a solution to their problems, thereby moving them from their traditional shared drive experience.

Plan For Achieving Efficiency with WAM

We planned to transfer all data and content from traditional shared drive systems to SharePoint Online. Modernizing the document management system was also our goal. Improving collaboration was what we targeted alongside. We also wanted to improve enterprise-level security. Our focus was also on leveraging the cloud-based features available with O365.

Steps to Implement SharePoint Online

We started with an initial analysis, then focused on creating a structured architecture in SharePoint. Content migration, implementing permissions, training users, and automating the metadata assignment were some of the steps that followed in the process.
