ITM Case Study migration from on-premises to SharePoint online.
ITM, or Independent Timber Merchants of New Zealand, was established in 1991. Currently, they operate over 90 stores across New Zealand.
With over 90 stores and over a thousand staff members, knitting together all the departments posed a major challenge. They had no regular updates, collaboration and mobile accessibility were not supported and the UI was old. ITM reached out to Evolvous when they considered transitioning from SharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online.
Our team of SharePoint experts created store department sites as site collections and migrated all their content to SharePoint Online with access management at different levels.
Leveraging SharePoint Online, ITM can now effectively collaborate using the latest version of SharePoint Online. They had different sites for their respective stores for effective internal communication. Our team successfully migrated all the files, folders, and documents for all respective departments with the much-needed authority over access management at all levels – internal, store and partners, and general members.
