A US Nonprofit Foundation Selects SharePoint Online for better Collaboration. 

The non-profit was founded in 2006 and formally registered in the USA in 2008. The client initiates and partners with other aligned organizations and non-profits to offer assistance and support for numerous local and global humanitarian efforts, including working with children and seniors, schools, and hospitals, developing community centers for children with multiple exceptionalities, building wells for clean water, supporting houseless communities, planting hundreds of thousands of trees. They operate worldwide, including in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, South America, Oceania, and North America. They aim to serve all humanity and make others happier and healthier, creating a harmonious world.  

Major Challenges Faced by the Client 

Collaborating across geographies with multiple campaigns, our client was looking for an affordable, secure, and effective internal communications solution that would assist them in managing all social campaigns across all geographies. Sharing content among the matrix was challenging and they wanted a centralized process to navigate documents and formalize the client’s internal processes. Seamless collaboration and security were their primary focuses. 

Developing SharePoint Online Intranet for Seamless Collaboration and Assured Security 

The client approached us to create their brand-new intranet based on their choice of Microsoft SharePoint Online. Our team designed their intranet with custom branding to make it look and feel consistent with the client’s branding.

Changes Incorporated into the SharePoint Online Intranet 

After analyzing their requirements, we created their landing page with a news carousel, a document library, and quick links to important information. It also included news, announcements, recent press releases, policies, upcoming events, time zone, weather, an image gallery, and Twitter and Facebook integration to increase engagement. We also built different sites on SharePoint for various departments with dedicated access management.
