Horizontal Scrollable for Vertical Gallery in PowerApps using Slider Control

There may be a requirement of showing more columns (horizontally) like table in a vertical gallery, by default vertical gallery will not offer horizontal scroll to show more details. However, in scenarios in PowerApps using Slider Control, you can create a workaround to achieve this. Refer below for the steps:

Step 1: Insert a “Slider” control and set its properties like below:

Default: 0
Max: 3
Min: 0

Step 2: Insert a label control. In our case “lblChckBox” and set its “X” property as below. Its X property changes according to Slider Value.
240 – Slider2.Value*150

Step 3: Now place other required labels beside the “lblChckBox” and set their “X” propery according to previous control “X and Width” properties like below.

Step 4: Insert a gallery and set its “X and Width” properties like below.
X: lblChckBox.X
Width: (Parent.Width-Self.X)

Step 5: Place gallery controls and feel the horizontal scrollable experience like below.

Other Use Cases:

You have option for DataTable control, but it doesn’t support calculations depends on the data source you are using. Ex: SharePoint list as data source.

Conclusion:

By default, PowerApps doesn’t have horizontal scroll bar in Vertical gallery. So, we can achieve it using slider control.
